Blood Raven Primaris Aggressors with Flamestorm gauntlets

Continuing with the large stock of unpainted Primaris Space marines.  Next up was the Aggressors.  I made these flamestorm variants before reading the forums for the boltstorms and frag launcher set-up...  Oh well, split milk - but still since they occupy an elite slot - I did gold pauldrons and bone helmets.  Here is the finished results:

Blood Raven Primaris Reivers with Bolt Carbines with Contrast Paints

So, I LOVE contrast paints.  Base coat, layer, shade, and layer again - minor highlights...  ALL WITH 1 COAT!  I was able to get these guys done in 2 days - but as usual, I get sidetracked...  Mainly small touch ups, re-hi-lighting to make it pop, the transfers/decals, and the script work too the most amount of time.  Here are the results...

Sector Mechanicus Alchomite stacks

Ok, needed a break from infantry and terrain typically paints up pretty fast.  I picked up this expansion for the SM's and got this small terrain from that box-set.  Here they are:

Peachy covered how to get the rust/grime effects on the buildings - so used his training video:
Working on the starter Adeptus Mechanicus troops.  Hope to have pictures soon.  I used the theme of Forgeworld Metilica for the inspiration.  It's been interesting to try and get the contrasts to work for the grays apparently...  Posting soon.

Sailormoon Orks (Part 2)

So, my love affair with contrast paints continues.  I was able to get these 9 beasties done in two sittings of  hours each.  Batch painting is much more fun now.  Here are the results:

Finishing up the killteam Terrain next, but see which model sets strike my fancy next.  I have a TON of infantry, so see which one fate picks...

Thousand Sons Scarab Occult Terminators

I've been painting these 6 Tsons terminators for over a year since other projects kept getting in the way.  Finally buckled down and got them done!!!  Here is the finished product:

Thousand sons scarab occult terminators
6 man squad (had extra bitz) - fully magnetized

Thousand sons scarab occult terminators
Sorcerer, heavy, and standard thousand sons terminator

Right side of heavy flamer

Pro Tip:  When doing the Hieroglyphics for the bolters and heavy weapons - started with Baharoth Blue for base coat.  Want as sharp of a blue as you can get.  Next - using a 0.5 Micro pen, use can lightly "skim" over the top of the casing - picking out the raised black parts while keeping the interior of the depressions Baharoth blue.  Much easier time of it then using a paint brush.
