With the release of Borderlands 3, I've slowed down painting considerably...  But, still - god bless contrast paints.  I still thin down my paints in my pots to speed up the process - don't still am having trouble with my edge highlight thicknesses.  Might be time to finally invest in a wet pallet like Youtuber's Squidmar and Miniac...  More to come...  But!  My finished camo Libby:

Blood Raven Primaris Eliminators

Finally starting to paint the Shadowspear box set I got for my Birthday.  First up for a couple test runs - the Eliminators.  Recon/Scout/Sniper/Primaris Devestators new unit.  The Las Fusiles are a new added punch to the Primaris army.  Used the camo idea from the white dwarf Blood Raven debut (July 2019 issue).  Here are the results:

2 year old Christmas Present I finally got around too.  Contrast with Highlights.  And the result:

Ok... For the most part - contrast paints are awesome!  But for the Apothecary white, I had to re-layer with Ulthuan Grey (used the pre-mixed Ulthuan Grey Air) to prevent the highlights from being so damn STARK!  I heavy applied the Apothecary white previously, so it had a medium grey all over the model.  Other then that, standard highlighting and glazes.  Little Blood for the Blood God for small accents.  Not too bad for ~6 hours of work.

So lucked out and was able to score this model.  Worked overtime to make him pop in BR color scheme.  Going through all the primaris commanders I've been collecting and he is the first of the line.  I bring you Lieutenant Jovan...

So,  This WAS an Ultramarine Intercessor, but inspired from Miniac's take on the model (he also had the unpainted one...) - Did the paint scheme in my version of the lieutenant. And my end product:
